Ashland TG85 Chromatic Tuner Ref: tuntg85

This is a Chromatic Tuner, which means it will tune all notes ( the black and white notes on a keyboard) instead of just having ones for a specific instrument.

This means that it is usefull for tuning a whole variety of instruments- Ukulele, Guitar, mandolin, violin etc.

The other reason to buy a Chromatic tuner is that there are other tunings that can be accomodated.
For example, the Soprano Uke can be tuned A, D, F#, B.
A Chromatic tuner will tune to this just as easily.
Because a Chromatic Tuner is programmed for all notes, it also shows you exactly what note you are on.

The Ashland TG-85 has a digital needle or pointer that remains steady so that it shows clearly where the tuning needs to be.

Other features include 6mm Jack input and outut, a liquid crystal display with additional red/green lights, a support to stand it up on a desk plus many other electronic features.
