The 'Stentor I' violin is an deal entry level instrument especially for smaller sizes. Fitted with good quality rosewood pegs. Has lightweight case and P&H bow.

Available sizes: 4/4, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 , 1/10, 1/16

These violins are suitable for students wanting a good quality but inexpensive instrument.

The pegs are made of rosewood and work smoothly asisting the instrument to stay in tune and also be tuned easily.

All timbers used in the body are solid. The violin has a pine wood top, with back, sides and neck of maple.

The fingerboard is a hardwood painted fingerboard which although we would prefer to see a solid ebony fingerboard works well and keeps this instrument affordable.

For those who can afford a slightly better instrument the Stentor II offers ebony fingerboard and also ebony pegs.
