Our Quality
All our violins are set up in our own workshops to an extremely high standard. Higher quality instruments are fitted with better strings to enable the player to achieve the best sound and tone possible. Find out about String instrument set up >>

New and Reconditioned
We also have secondhand student violins (all reconditioned) and a selection of higher quality instruments both new and antique. These are not shown here as stock frequently changes. Please contact us for details on 023 9266 1010 or see our contact form for e-mail.

Stock
All of the violins on display here are stock items in our showroom. Please feel free to drop in and try them out. Our staff have extensive experience of stringed instruments at all levels and are happy to advise on our range and customers individual requirements.

Trial period
There is also a trial period allowed for the higher end instruments.

Repairs and Backup
There is a complete backup service with in house workshop and technician for the products we sell. We also undertake high quality work to all stringed instruments including bow repair and re-hair.

Maintaining your Instrument
As with all Courtney and Walker products, we supply a free leaflet as well as a personal run through on care and maintenance of your instrument

Secondhand French Violin Ref: VLNSH

A beautiful violin labelled Antonio Magnarno, light brown / amber varnish. Basically strad copy. has 2 piece back.
Strongly flamed timbers throughout.
Condition is generally good with a few varnish scratches, one of the corners has been broken off and repaired,
and there is also a repaired crack in the top which runs from the saddle about 3 inches.
